Twelve years ago I
left the Lord Our Righteousness Church with my husband and
four children, leaving behind three sisters and my father's
second wife and many people I loved and cared about. We had
spent six years with them but as events began to unfold I
was convicted in my heart that I could not continue living
this way and God gave me decernment to leave and faithfully
lead me out. When one leaves a group like this there is an
understanding that there is complete seperation. You watch
as others who have left before you are said to be listening
to "their father the devil" and no one will listen to
anything they have to say. They may banter back and forth
but until the one who has questioned repents there is no
reform from the group and you remain "lost." I was called
the devil, I was shunned, and I returned to New York. I had
no contact except when my family members returned to NY
once. That was a long time ago. There has been little to no
communication since.
Recently a strange turn of events occured when I received a
call from a family member who was never involved with the
group. I was told my sister who is now 23 was one of
Michael's angels. I did not know what this meant so I began
to research. I was eventually lead to this site where I was
able to read the testimonies and letters. I have read what
was meant to be private between Wayne and the group. I have
read the letters that are outright warfare between Wayne,
Jeff and those who have left. I knew many of these people
so as I read I have a sense of who they were, I am shocked
and saddened by the deterioration that is very evident.
I do not believe the teachings of this group and I do not
believe Wayne Bent has transformed into the Son of God. I
do see there has been a transformation but it has been
toward the darkness. This is clearly evident in the banter
that has continued for page after page on this website.
Wayne's replies are relentless, cruel and full of "he said
she said." If Wayne is the higher functioning being (God
Himself) and Prudence and Julie are following their father
the devil, I do not recognize the spirit of Jesus in Wayne
at all. When my Lord was face to face with the devil, the
great deceiver, He answered only with "It is written."
Jesus never entered into this banter with the pharisees nor
with the devil. I admonish Wayne in particular because it
is he who is held most accountable by his own testimony.
I pray for you all "Father forgive them for they know not
what they do."
I pray for these young women who have been deceived through
fear and doubt. My sisters are always welcome.
